CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

The Promotion is conducted by the Promoter, which is Justice Services (ABN 45 128 258 564) trading as Holding Redlich and Adviceline Injury Lawyers of Level6, 277 William Street Melbourne Victoria 3000.

Information on How to Enter and Prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry.

The Promotion is only open to individuals who:

I.          are residents of Victoria; and

II.         are aged 18 years or older or are under 18 years of age, who have obtained their parent or guardian’s consent to enter the Promotion on these Conditions of Entry and whose parent or guardian have agreed to these Conditions of Entry; and

III.         are in attendance at the VTHC OH&S Representative Conference 2011 (the Conference) and are not employed by Holding Redlich.

The promotion is only being offered in Victoria.

All entrants are responsible for ensuring their familiarity with the Conditions of Entry at the time of participation. Entry into this Promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.  The Promoters’ decision not to enforce a specific restriction does not constitute a waiver of that restriction or of the Conditions of Entry generally.

All entrants acknowledge that the Promoter can rely on these Conditions of Entry even if the Promoter only learns of a person’s ineligibility to enter after the Promoter has awarded a Prize to the ineligible person.  Return of a Prize or payment of its equivalent value to the Promoter can be required by the Promoter if this occurs.

All prices stated are in Australian dollars, represent the recommended retail price and include GST.  All references to times and dates are to times and dates in Melbourne which are Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST). All times are stated using the 24 hour clock.

KEY DATES

The Promotion commences 19 October 2011 7:15am and closes 19 October 2011 at 17:00pm.

The prize will be drawn at the end of the Conference on 19 October 2011 between 13:00pm and 17:00pm.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PRIZE

The winning entrant will win a corporate box at a Melbourne Tigers home match of their choice during the Melbourne Tigers Home & Away Season 2011/2012, from 15 October 2011 to 2 April 2012, valued at $2,200, which includes:

  • prime courtside seating for up to 8 people;
  • a selection of finger food, beer, wine and soft drinks located & served responsibly and continuously at your seats; and
  • VIP car park passes for the Tigers corporate car park.

(collectively referred to as the Prize).

HOW TO ENTER

1.       Attend the Conference;

2.       Fill in the entry form; and

3.       Place the entry form in the draw.

HOW WILL THE PRIZE BE DRAWN

At a time between 13:00pm and 17:00pm on Wednesday 19 October 2011, the State President of the Victorian Trades Hall Council (VTHC) will draw the winner of the Promotion by picking an entry out of the draw.

HOW WILL THE RESULTS OF THE PROMOTION BE NOTIFIED AND WHEN

The winner of the Promotion will be notified on the spot upon the Promotion being drawn and the winners name will be placed on the Adviceline Injury Lawyers website at www.advicelineinjurylawyers.com.au.

GENERAL

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or Prize claims. 

The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the Promotion is final and binding on every person who participates. No correspondence will be entered into.

If for any reason the conduct or operation of this Promotion is interfered with or disrupted in any way (including but not limited to, vandalism, power failures, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes, computer bugs or viruses, fraud, tampering, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter), the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend or recommence the Promotion, subject to the approval of the authorities that have issued permits for its conduct.

The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any incorrect or incomplete information which may be communicated in the course of administering this Promotion.

To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees, contractors, agents and representatives) are not liable for any loss (including loss of opportunity) or damage (including but not limited to direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage), costs, expenses, claims, actions, liability or personal injury arising in any way from or in relation to:

(a)        the Promotion;

(b)        any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control);

(c)        any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;

(d)        any entrant or attendee of the Conference that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter); and/or

(e)        the Prize (including the use or attempted use of the Prize).
